PSHCE work for week 27th April.
Resilience = the ability to bounce back after times of difficulty, mistakes and/or failures. Choose someone (they could be famous – think athletes, professional sports players, politicians or people who have struggled but made positive changes to society/the world or known to you personally) and make a PowerPoint presentation describing them, their lives and how they’ve overcome hardships and shown resilience.
Year 8 –
This week we’ll be focusing on developing better communication. To practice your communication skills, spend time this week interviewing a person at home about their favourite things (focus on their favourite place, film, album, musician or memory). Remember to listen carefully and make eye contact when you interview them. Write down/summarise their responses and hand this in on Teams.
Year 9 –
Use this link – https://www.brook.org.uk/topics/stis/ to research the following STIs: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, genital herpes, hepetitis, pubic lice and syphilis. Produce a summary of each and submit to Teams.
Year 10 –
