Operating across the 14-19 age range, Knutsford College is part of Knutsford Multi Academy Trust. We have a very strong reputation for high standards and expectations in teaching, innovative learning experiences, curricular and extra-curricular provision as evidenced in the recent Ofsted Report on the school.
Our core purpose is to ensure students of all abilities:
Staff and parents have an important role in ensuring that every student is fully supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. A range of strong links with local businesses, higher education providers and community groups add new experiences that help our students succeed in many different ways. Challenging students to widen their horizons, question the progress they are making and work hard will mean that our young people will flourish, achieving both academic excellence and personal fulfilment.
We have the highest expectations of our students and recognize that exemplary attendance, behaviour, punctuality and appearance are all essential to maximize achievement. Students are encouraged to participate and excel in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including the performing arts, sport, community service and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. We are constantly striving to improve and develop further the quality of learning and teaching and the overall facilities available to our students, the great majority of whom continue their education with us in our Sixth Form.
We aspire to be outstanding in every respect and take very seriously, our responsibility for every child and the future of the College, as well as the community we serve.
I hope you find our website useful and, should you wish to do so, you are welcome to visit the school in person.
