Students joining the Academy
in Year 7 spend their first year based at the Westfield Drive site and move up to the main site at Bexton Road from
Year 8.
All students are encouraged to strive for academic success and broad personal development.
The Sixth Form
The Sixth Form at Knutsford Academy offers an extensive range of A Level and BTEC options. There is a real close knit community focus enabling our students to thrive with personalised support, UCAS guidance and an average class size of 12.
The Studio School
The Studio School opened in 2014 and combines both academic and employability skills as we prepare students for the working world with a range of GCSE and A Level or BTEC options. In addition the Studio also offers the new Football Academy.

APPLICATIONS TO THE SIXTH FORM STARTING SEPTEMBER 2021 ARE NOW OPEN

Applications to join our highly successful Sixth Form starting in September 2021 are now open. We welcome applications not just from Knutsford Academy students but from students attending schools across the local area. We offer an inclusive approach to meet the different needs and abilities of all students through providing an extensive range of A Level and BTEC options.

Entry requirements for an A Level programme are a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above including Maths and English, plus meeting the individual requirements for the specific subject, please refer to the Sixth Form curriculum page for these. For a BTEC programme in the Studio School a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English are required.
