Getting ready for Year 7
Knutsford Academy Year 7 Transition 2024
We hope that your child is looking forward to beginning their secondary education with us here at Knutsford Academy.
This page will contain all of the information which you need to ensure a smooth transition for your child from their primary school.
Between March 1st and March 15th, we will busy processing all of the allocated places as parents accept or decline their offers. We will also be forming our waiting list during this time.
If you have not currently been offered a place at Knutsford Academy and would like to be added to our waiting list, please contact Mrs. Bamping in the school office vbg@knutsfordacademy.org.uk and also Cheshire East Admissions with your details and ensure that you have checked the 'crow-flies' distance from your permanent residential address to our school postcode of WA160EA.
Please note that we will not have any definitive information about our waiting list until the days after March 15th once most parents have either accepted or declined their place with us.

Our specialist student support team and Mr David Cole, the Head of Year 7, will be visiting or contacting all primary schools after Easter to meet with students and find out all about them.
Our New Intake Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 20th June from 6pm - 7pm. Students will also be able to meet their form tutor and fellow form members on this evening.
Our Year 6 Transition Day will take place on Wednesday 10th July from 8.40am - 3pm.

Our uniform supplier is SWI and you can order uniform directly from their website SWI Knutsford Academy Uniform. We advise that you order uniform as soon as possible.Our Headteacher, Mrs Key, and myself look forward to meeting you over the coming months.
