Westfield Drive Donate to Street Buddies Manchester
During this term students at Westfield Drive have been collecting donations for Street Buddies Manchester, a local charity that support the homeless in Manchester. We have been gathering collections of hats, gloves, socks, hand and foot warmers and Christmas selection boxes that the charity can distribute to people in need in the run up to Christmas. It is fair to say that we were absolutely taken aback by the generous donations made by our Westfield Drive community! We had over 500 items donated- we filled the whole car! Lou and Sara from Street Buddies (pictured here with three of our Student Ambassadors and Mrs Szkolar) were so thankful for all of the donations and wanted us to pass on their thanks to everyone who gave so generously!
