Year 7 Ambassadors Visit Care Home
Our Year 7 Student Ambassadors visited Sharston House, a local care home, yesterday to spread some Christmas cheer! In the morning, they wrote Christmas cards for the residents and then delivered them in the afternoon along with some homemade mince pies. The students chatted to the residents, handed out treats and even sang some Christmas songs. AJ, one of our Ambassadors, treated them to a performance on the piano, which they loved! It was a fantastic day, enjoyed by residents, students and staff! Merry Christmas!

Lyla Wins Bronze!
Congratulations to Lyla in Year 9 who represented England at the World Kickboxing Championships in Portugal this October. She ended up winning a bronze medal in the 11-12 years old under 55kg points fighting category, one fight she won with over a 10 point gap! Lyla then narrowly missed out on another bronze as she went out in the quarter finals of the 11-12 years old under 55kg in continuous fighting. This was her first time ever competing at this level and she did her family, her coach and her school proud. Well done Lyla!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them
