Preparing for Uni
Knutsford Academy students are extremely well supported in their aspirations beyond the Sixth Form, enabling them to successfully step into their future through different routes. We offer a high level of one-to-one personalised support for students every step of the way with their post-18 choices, be it university, an apprenticeship or full time employment.
We offer study masterclasses with advice and guidance for all Sixth Formers that provide both personalised subject and impartial careers advice which is always in the best interest of each individual student. Students are also encouraged to undertake additional qualifications such as the Extended Project Qualification, focusing on a topic which would be beneficial to their chosen university course or chosen career pathway.
Our Form Tutors help to prepare students for the UCAS application and interview process to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence for success. In addition, we provide specialised Oxbridge and Competitive Admissions Programmes including Medical School entry guidance and masterclasses throughout the year through our direct partnerships with Oxford and Manchester Universities.
