We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 linguists who represented the Languages Department in French and Spanish at the Northwest Regional Translation Bee Competition at Lancaster University.
Out of over 2,200 entrants, our students reached the final 45 — an outstanding achievement.
This success reflects months of commitment and hard work, with students attending weekly training sessions every Friday lunchtime throughout the year. Their dedication truly paid off.
Competing in front of a large audience can be daunting, but our students rose to the challenge with confidence, determination and resilience, giving 100% in every round.
