Data and Assessment Officer – (Temporary)
Knutsford Academy and Cheshire Studio School are looking to appoint a Data and Assessment Officer to work alongside Senior Leaders to provide accurate data management information across the schools. The post holder will lead on the management, collation and production of assessment and performance data to improve standards across the schools. They will also work closely with the Examinations Officer to support the delivery of both internal and external examinations.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working within an educational establishment with the ability to use the school management systems (SIMS and SISRA) to input, extract and manipulate data to produce appropriate assessment and management information to meet the needs of the school. The appointed post holder will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all stakeholders of the school and strong IT skills including the use of Excel and Word to ensure an accurate, efficient and effective data management system is in place in school.
8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday – Thursday (term-time with 30 min lunch)
8.00 am – 3.30 pm Friday
Two specific weeks will be required during the summer holidays to coincide with the publication of examination results.
There may be flexibility with starting and finishing times. This would be discussed during the interview process.
Salary: This post is Grade 5. The pro-rata salary range is: £16,245 – £18,459
We are seeking to appoint two science technicians for a September start.
Required to work as part of an established team, the successful applicant will work in our large and forward-looking Science Faculty preparing resources for Science lessons up to, and including, A level. Expertise in Chemistry and/or Biology is desirable.
The Science Faculty is one of the largest areas of learning in the Academy and Studio. It delivers the full range of science courses from Year 7 through to Year 13 on a split school site.
Hours of work: 25 per week, term time only.
Salary: This post is Grade 4. The pro-rata salary range is £9,621 – £10,427
